CFCAC is blessed to have the support of 38 local churches with 21 Board members who represent 19
of those churches. CFCAC could not exist without the community’s support for the last nineteen years.

Our operational funds come from three main sources:
- Donations:
Food Pantry: $13,179, over 9,000 food items & 4,174 lbs. of deer
School Fair: over $14,000
Assistance/operations: $27,718 - Grants:

These three funding sources allow CFCAC to provide four main services to our community
members in need:
- Food Pantry:
a. Served 703 different families helping 7,172 individuals with 33% being children. 46% live
in rural Adams County, 43% live within Quincy City limits, and 11% live outside Adams
County
c. Food purchased = $66,402 from Central Illinois Food Bank, K’s Family Foods, Quincy
Save A Lot and other sources
d. 2 – 4 hygiene products are available with every visit for a cost of over $2,609 & $1,693
through Thrivent donation - Assistance: Given to clients living in Adams County, less than 20 miles from the Center
and outside Quincy City limits who have completed an application and supplied necessary
information. All information is verified.
a. $60,182 in assistance was given in 2024
b. This assistance is primarily given for rent/mortgage and utilities expenses
c. 198 clients were helped through this program
d. 95% live in Adams County, 1% in Brown County, and 4% in Hancock County - School Fair: was held on August 7, 2024
a. 363 students were served with backpacks & supplies
b. Many students also participated in receiving physicals, immunizations, and haircuts
c. Students live in the Central District or are CFCAC clients
d. Total cost of School Fair = $12,662
e. Average cost per student = $34.88
f. Did not solicit for funds due to large carryover from past year - GED Preparation Program: Beginning in the fall of 2020, CFCAC and John Wood
Community College partner this course to all CFCAC clients. Currently, 3-4 students are
participating. In the spring of 2024, CFCAC had two more graduates.
FACILITY PROJECTS IN 2024:
Replaced the roof at a cost of $40,000
Grants = $50,000
Remainder to be used for handicap accessible front entrance = $10,000

The only way CFCAC continues to operate!
a. Total number of adult volunteers = 272
b. Total number of volunteer hours = 9,783.75
c. Total number of student service hours = 78.5
